Clear Disclosure: Our app does NOT share your personal data with any third-party AI services. All processing happens on your device:

• Speech Recognition: Performed on-device using Apple's Speech Framework
• Natural Language Processing: Performed on-device using Apple's NaturalLanguage Framework
• Data Storage: Stored locally on your device using SQLite
• Backup: Only to Apple's iCloud service (if enabled)

We do NOT use OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any other external AI services. No audio recordings or diary content are sent to external servers.

Information We Collect

1. Audio Data

• We access your device's microphone to record voice entries
• Speech recognition is performed on-device using Apple's Speech framework
• No audio recordings are uploaded to our servers
• Audio data is processed in real-time and not stored permanently

2. Diary Content

• Your transcribed diary entries are stored locally on your device
• We do not have access to your personal diary content
• Data is stored in an encrypted local database (SQLite)

3. iCloud Backup (Premium Feature)

• Premium users only: If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your diary data is automatically backed up to Apple iCloud
• iCloud backup helps protect your data if you lose your device or switch to a new one
• Premium users can also manually backup, restore, and export/import data through the app
• You can disable iCloud backup for this app in your device Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud

4. Subscription Information

• Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
• We receive only your subscription status (active/inactive) from Apple
• We do not collect or store payment information

5. Usage Data (Anonymous)

• We do not collect analytics or usage statistics
• We do not use tracking technologies
• We do not share data with third-party advertisers

Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party frameworks:

• Apple StoreKit: For subscription management
• Apple Speech Framework: For on-device speech recognition only
• Apple iCloud: For optional data backup and sync
• SQLite.swift: For local data storage (open source)

Important: We do NOT use any third-party AI services (such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc.). All speech recognition and natural language processing is performed on-device using Apple's native frameworks. No user data is sent to any external AI service.

Data Storage and Security

• All personal data is stored locally on your device
• Premium users: Data is backed up to Apple's iCloud service if enabled
• Data is protected by iOS security features and Apple's iCloud encryption
• We recommend using device passcode/biometric authentication
• Premium users can manually export backups for additional data portability

Data Retention

• Your diary entries remain on your device until you delete them
• Premium users: iCloud backups persist according to your iCloud storage settings
• You can delete all data anytime from Settings within the app
• Uninstalling the app will remove all local data (Premium users' iCloud backups remain until manually deleted)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data (all data is stored locally on your device)
• Delete your data through the app's Settings
• Export your data (Premium feature)
• Disable iCloud backup through device settings
• Cancel your subscription through App Store settings

Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
